Highland Park Tour of Homes Friday & Saturday
Friday Preview Event Added This Year
The 2008 Highland Park Tour of Homes will be held Friday evening, May 2, and Saturday, May 3. This year’s theme A Taste of Highland Park will be reflected in the addition of a Friday evening event that will give tour-goers the opportunity to visit four of the homes from the full Saturday tour and speak to the homeowners and contractors about the details of their homes restoration.
“This year’s tour has switched from the fall to the spring, because we feel that Spring better symbolizes the ongoing transition in Highland Park. Spring is a time of renewal and that’s what Highland Park is all about and thanks to our very active neighborhood association, we show no signs of slowing down,” said tour coordinator Jason Tablada.
Tour events on both days begin at Architectural Exchange at 1300 McCallie Ave. Tour tickets may be purchased at Architectural Exchange, Geno’s Salon, The Deli Man & The Cake Lady and Aunt Sue’s K-9 Bakery and Pet Supplies, all of which are located in Highland Park on McCallie Avenue.
A complimentary shuttle will be available both days.
